We have been breeding and showing Hackneys since 1969 , We selected foundation stock back then from the purist of English bloodlines chosen for stamina in the ring , balanced extravagent action, comformation to type, and hardiness to substain the toughest of British winters. We have a fine selection of pure breds for sale this season ready for this seasons show ring.
This versitile breed will cross well to produce tough athletic endurance stock for most equine disiplines and which have proven themselves in Showjumping, Eventing and Driving trials throughout the globe. As one of the very few part bred studs in Britain with a selection of cross trotters ,thoroughbred or coloured mares we could possibly have the animal you have been searching for, whether it be for show driving , riding, or simply for pleasure.
Our Hackney ponies at stud carry true British blood through and through and produce typey quality stock for pure breds or when crossed with smaller native ponies such as Shetland or Welsh will produce ideal Scurry, childrens Lead rein or Riding pony type as well as an all round fun Gymkhana pony exhibiting both brains and speed and agility.
